How it feels to be losing your job





Admitting

This isn't the first time I haven't fit into the corporate mold.



I want to think that there's something inherently wrong with me for feeling like this. I want to say that this might be my last couple of months at this job, before they fire me. However, the fact that I've been down this path before, and have been retaliated against and mistreated in the corporate workplace tells me otherwise.



Accepting

And I think that I kind of can't wait until it happens.



To have the sweet relief of an unemployment check coming in while I spend my days relaxing or understanding what my purpose is in this life...



I need to keep remembering that I was a human outside of this job, I am a human within it, and I will continue to be a human without it.



Life is funny. Things always have their own way of working out.
